Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts. However, this right does not apply to certain categories of products, in particular to personalised or custom-made goods.
No withdrawal right for customised and made-to-order products
All Studio Fé Art products are individually handcrafted and created only after an order is placed. Many items are personalised according to your specific instructions (e.g. names, texts, dedications, colours or custom motifs).
Under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and corresponding national laws), no right of withdrawal applies to contracts for:
- goods made to the consumer’s specifications, or
- goods clearly personalised for an individual customer.
Because each artwork is created uniquely and cannot be resold to third parties, cancellations, returns or withdrawal are not permitted once production has begun.
Why withdrawal is excluded
Our artworks are:
- created entirely by hand after your order is placed,
- customised with your names, texts or design requests,
- unique one-of-a-kind pieces, not stock items,
- not suitable for resale in their personalised form.
Minor variations from product photos (colour, linework, proportions) are inherent to handmade artistic work and do not constitute defects.
When withdrawal could theoretically apply
Withdrawal would only be possible if:
- the product is not personalised, and
- the product exists as a standard, non-customised item.
Currently, Studio Fé Art does not offer any standardised or pre-made items. If this changes, an appropriate withdrawal policy will be provided.
Your warranty rights remain unaffected
The exclusion of the right of withdrawal does not affect your legal warranty rights. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery:
